Product Description
Sertaconazole 2% Cream is antifungal ointment which is prescribed for treatment of various skin infections. It belongs to imidazole class of drugs which show about 99% of plasma binding ability. This cream is used by gently massaging to affected area it gets absorbed through skin. Active chemical of this cream has molecular formula C20H15Cl3N2OS with molar mass of 437.77 g/mol. It is known to work by inhibiting 14-alpha demethylase enzyme which is required by fungi for synthesis of ergosterol, an important layer of cell wall. Sertaconazole 2% Cream also possesses antipruritic, antitrichomonal, and fungicidal activities.
