Product Description

Chilstom 40 Injection is a proton pump inhibitor which is prescribed for treatment of stomach ulcers and indigestion & heartburn caused due to excessive production of gastric acid. Upon administration, it quickly gets absorbed in parietal cells of stomach and binds to H+/K+ ATPase pump. Then it gets metabolized by demethylation with help of CYP2C19 which is followed by sulfation. This injection comprises pantoprazole as active compound which chemical formula C16H15F2N3O4S with molecular weight of 383.371 g/mol. Chilstom 40 Injection is also indicated for short term treatment of erosive esophagitis and for Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
